- : Just because OPUS 4 is not beoing sold anymore doesn't mean it should be
- : Pirated! Just because People got OPUS 4 on a Mag Cover Disk doesn't mean it's a
- : FULL Version! You got what you payed for, the Price of the MAG. Doesn't
- : Includes the Manual, and it surly can't be POSTED on AmiNet for everyone to
- : download. DO you get nice Manuals for other Programs you get on CoverDisks?
- : I never did, and I got some GOOD programs, The Athors of the software usually
- : will let the Mags Post a Old version of there software, so people can try it
- : out, and then acually BUY the latest Copy!
- : Your Opus Manual is whatever they give you in the Mag, that's it!
-
- : The only good thing is with OPUS 4 it's pretty EASY to configure anyway without
- : a Manual, that's not really the case with OPUS 5.
-
- You SHOULD be able to buy a manual for the version of the program you are
- dealing with. For instance when Amiga Format gave away Imagine 2.x, they
- included a deal with the publishers so you could either upgrade or buy
- the manual. The publishers could make MORE money that way as those who
- upgrade, upgrade and those who dont can buy a manual if the program is
- good.
- Having said that I couldn`t get a manual for Imagine 3.x from ANYWHERE.
- Even athough I would have paid much more than it was worth
-
- And who ever said that if you dont have a manual for a program, that the
- program is pirited is a pretty dim person. Have you NEVER lost a manual?
- Have you NEVER got a coverdisk? Have you NEVER spilt coffee over one?
-
- Manual replacement/supply is whats called AFTER-SALES SUPPORT. What the
- Amiga is sadly lacking
